We are now accepting applications for KIP's free language courses!
About KIP's language courses
With the goal of enabling local people to communicate across language barriers, KIP will be offering free courses this year in English, Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Japanese.
For each language, the level will be introductory to beginner level, and the course will consist of 90 minutes, once a week, for a total of 9 sessions per course.
Priority will be given to those who live and work in Okinawa City and those taking KIP's language courses for the first time , but depending on availability, we also accept applications from people in other cities and towns and those taking the course for the second time or later.
* Applications are limited to those who are high school students or older. Please note that the content of the course may be subject to change.
Dates, times and locations of each course
Starting in June 2025, we will be offering English, Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese courses. The dates, times, and locations for each course are as follows:
■English Course
Date and time: Thursday, June 5, 2025 - Thursday, July 31, 2025
Every Thursday from 10:30 to 12:00 (90 minutes) 9 sessions in total
Location: Koza International Plaza (KIP)
■Chinese Language Course
Date and time: June 18, 2025 (Wednesday) - August 13, 2025 (Wednesday)
Every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm (90 minutes) 9 episodes in total
Place: Okinawa City Social Welfare Council (1-14-29 Sumiyoshi, Okinawa City)
■ Spanish Language Course
Date and time: June 3, 2025 (Tuesday) to July 29, 2025 (Tuesday)
Every Tuesday from 10:30 to 12:00 (90 minutes), 9 sessions in total
Location: Koza International Plaza (KIP)

To enroll in English, Chinese, or Spanish courses, please click on the course you would like to enroll in and apply via Google Form.
